How To Draw Maneki Neko - Easy Step By Step Drawing Tutorial

Learn how to draw a Maneki Neko (= the Beckoning Cat, also called the Lucky Cat) with these super easy steps. Great for kids and beginners! You will need a paper or sketchbook and markers. Let's start...

Drawing instructions:

Step 1. Draw an oval as the cat's head.

Step 2. Draw the cat's ears.

Step 3. Draw the eyes, nose and whiskers.

Step 4. Draw the cat's hands.

Step 5. Draw the cat's necklace. Then draw the two legs.

Step 6. Complete the cat's body.

Step 7. Draw 2 lined oval behind left side of the cat's body.

Step 8. Draw a fish behind the right side of the cat's body.

Step 9. Complete the writing inside the oval shape. The complete the fish drawing with scales and eye.

Step 10.  Draw a cushion underneath the cat. Done! The Maneki Neko drawing is finish.
